Military Applicants

ScottBoston University Questrom School of Business greatly values the contributions of those in the military and the breadth of experience our active service men, women, and veterans bring to the classroom experience. The School is proud to be a Military Friendly School, which aims to help combine a military personnel’s past and present experience with an MBA for a greater career advantage.

Military veterans who have been on active duty with the US Armed Forces may request an application fee waiver. We also provide a one-year deferment if admitted military students’ plans are delayed by their service branch. Please email for more information.

Yellow Ribbon Program

The Yellow Ribbon Program allows institutions of higher learning (degree-granting colleges and universities) in the United States to voluntarily enter into an agreement with the Veterans Administration (VA) to fund tuition expenses that exceed the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition rate. Participating schools can waive up to 50% of those expenses, and VA will match the same amount as the institution.

Veterans must be registered in their course/program to be considered for YRP. To determine YRP eligibility, check with the Veterans Administration.

Any student who is eligible for veterans’ benefits or who would like more information about VA rules and veterans’ programs should contact:
