Graduate Admission Process
The Graduate Admissions Office promises that you will have a thoughtful and timely response to your completed application. We are here to provide you with support during the admissions process, and to make the experience as transparent as possible while maintaining your privacy. The admission process can vary by program. Please see the application checklist to ensure you have completed all necessary components.
IMPORTANT: You may submit one application per semester, and you can check the status of an existing application at any time. For Executive MBA (EMBA) Admissions, visit the EMBA website.
Our application for 2016 entry is now available! Please apply here.
Application Fee Waiver Eligibility
The Graduate Admission Office will waive the application fee for students who are currently members or alumni of the following programs:
- The US Military
- Management Leadership for Tomorrow MBA Fellows
- The Peace Corps
- Teach for America
- City Year Corps
- Education Pioneers
To take advantage of this fee waiver, when your application is complete and ready to be submitted, please email email@example.com with your name and CAS ID number stating that you are eligible for an application fee waiver. Once we process your request, you will receive a follow-up email with additional instructions to submit your application. DO NOT click “Submit and pay for programs” prior to receiving these instructions.
Due to the high volume of applications we receive, your application fee waiver may take a few business days to process. If you submit this request before or on one of our application deadlines, but do not receive a confirmation from us that same day, your application will still be considered “on time” for the deadline to which you applied.
We look forward to reviewing your application!
While we hope you get to know us through our various visit options, you may still have questions that you prefer to ask one-on-one. Schedule a face-to-face, on-campus or off-campus advising session with a member of our admissions team.
This meeting will give you a chance to speak individually with an admissions committee member to ask your questions about the programs and admission process, and learn more about the opportunities available at the Boston University Questrom School of Business. Twenty minute appointments are available during the dates and times listed.
Upon receiving and reviewing your application, the Admission Committee may contact you to schedule an interview. Interviews are offered only by invitation with a limited number of Off-Campus Interviews available. Interviews are also offered on-campus and via Skype for those outside the Boston area.
Deadlines vary according to program. Please review the Application Deadline schedule and plan accordingly.
