The BU Executive MBA has been carefully designed to balance momentum and absorption. After a December Orientation weekend, the 18-month program begins in January and concludes in June of the following year, encompassing the following highly integrated components:
- Five modules, occurring on selected Fridays and Saturdays spread across 18 months
- Case discussions taught by multiple faculty in each module
- An interdisciplinary, team-based assignment in each module
- Four week-long residential sessions, including one international session
- The Capstone Project, creating an integrated business plan during the final module
