Boston University Questrom School of Business has launched an emergency fund to help students directly impacted by the COVID-19 crisis and the resulting economic downturn. Made possible by the generosity of alumni, the Office of the Dean, faculty, and staff, the COVID-19 Emergency fund is accepting requests for currently enrolled Questrom students who may need additional funding to reduce financial hardships associated with the ongoing pandemic, including support for the following:
- Basic life needs, including food, toiletries, and necessary medications;
- Educational expenses, including books and technology costs associated with moving to online learning;
- Travel expenses associated with campus closure, including transportation fees and economy airfare, storage of personal possessions; and
- Other unmet financial costs due to loss of employment.

Requests for funding are reviewed every two weeks with the first deadline on Monday, July 6th, with notifications sent by Friday, July 10th. Additional deadlines may be found on the application website. Questions related to the submission process may be directed to email@example.com.
While the fund may not be able to fund all requests in full, additional resources beyond the Questrom Student Emergency Needs Fund exist for the benefit of students in need due to the health and economic crisis.
