Questrom Among Top 10 B-Schools to Watch in 2020

According to a recent article published in Poets & Quants, Questrom ranks among the top 10 business schools to watch this year.

“Eight years ago, the school rolled the dice, anchoring its full-time curriculum to healthcare and life sciences, digital technology, and alternative energy and sustainability,” writes Poets & Quants. “Now, Questrom is starting down a new path.”

That new venture is the BU Questrom Online MBA, set to launch in the fall of 2020. “Throughout our 105-year history, the School has introduced five versions of the MBA to address unique segments of business learners,” says Susan Fournier, Allen Questrom Professor and Dean. “The time has come again to expand our portfolio, utilizing new technologies to reach the global online segment.”

The article highlights the Online MBA’s innovative curriculum, developed from the insights of global business leaders and specifically geared towards the online learner. In addition to the curriculum, the article mentions the new degree’s accessible price point—$24,000—and highlighted Dean Fournier’s commitment to simultaneously furthering the on-campus MBA programs.

“This is in no way a retreat from [our on-campus] market or our commitment to it. More importantly, this is in no way in our mind a situation of substitutes,” says Fournier. “On-campus and online are completely different segments with different needs, audiences, programs, and programming experiences.”
