New rankings recognize BU and Questrom

In the recent US News & World Report Best Colleges ranking, released September 10th, Boston University achieved its first-ever placement on the Most Innovative Universities list, tied for 28th. Boston University also ranked 42nd overall in the national universities category. The Questrom School of Business undergraduate program ranked 42nd overall, down 2, based solely on a survey of business school deans and program leaders. “As part of a large, innovation-driven research University Questrom has incredible opportunities,” said Susan Fournier, Allen Questrom Professor & Dean. “As we move into this new academic year, I am excited to build upon the high quality of our faculty and programs to create impactful research and new opportunities for students which prepare them for changing industry needs.” The full results of US News ranking can be seen here.

In the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education 2019 college rankings, released September 5th, Boston University increased its rank 4 spots to become 36th overall. This ranking, conducted in collaboration between WSJ and THE, considers student outcomes, school resources, and the overall learning environment. The full ranking can be seen here. A separate ranking of undergraduate business programs by WSJ/THE is expected to be released later this year.
