Boston University Questrom School of Business Receives Extension of AACSB Accreditation.
We’re pleased to announce that Questrom has received a full extension of accreditation by the leading global accreditor of business schools, AACSB. This recognition, which follows an extensive review process, highlights the exceptional quality of Questrom’s faculty, staff, students, and programs.
AACSB is the world’s largest business education alliance and works to connect educators, students, and business to create the next generation of great leaders. Less than 5% of the world’s business schools have received AACSB accreditation, and only 18, including Questrom, were reaffirmed this spring.
AACSB published its press release saying that, “AACSB commends each institution for their exemplary work,” said Robert D. Reid, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB International. “During this peer-review process schools must demonstrate alignment with AACSB’s global accreditation standards, as well as how they encourage engagement, innovation, and impact across the communities they serve.”
Kenneth W. Freeman, Allen Questrom Professor and Dean, shared his feelings on the recognition saying, “We are pleased to receive this re-affirmation from AACSB that we continue to exceed rigorous accreditation standards. At Questrom, we are pursuing excellence in everything we do and this recognition confirms our relentless focus on quality, and we will continue to drive innovative and impactful programs to meet the needs of today’s students.”
