Program Completion data for the past 7 years:

  1. Students entering the program as bachelor level graduates:
    1. mean time to complete program = 7.1 years

Our goal is to provide financial support for all of our doctoral students during at least their first three years in the program (the time during which the large majority of students complete their required course work). Teaching fellowships and research assistantships are paid over 8 months for the academic year. The stipend amount for 8 months is $17,500. The teaching fellowships and research assistantships cover full tuition and medical insurance.

During the past seven years:  one student (12.5%) from the entering class of 1985 left the program; one student (8.3%) from the entering class of 1987 left the program; one student (10%) from the entering class of 1995 left the program; and one student (6.7%) from the entering class of 1996 left the program.

5. Licensure
Among students who obtained their Ph.D.s from our program during the period from 1997 to 2005, 63 (74%) have obtained licenses as professional psychologists.
