 Jessica Henderson Daniel, Ph.D.

  Jessica Henderson Daniel   Adjunct Associate Professor.

Dr. Daniel received her PhD in 1969 from the University of Illinois-Urbana. She has been teaching at BU since September 1988; she has held a faculty appointment since September 1989. She serves as adviser to the Minority Collective and teaches the course: Psychology and Social Oppression. Currently, she is Director of the APA-approved Pre-doctoral Training Program in the Department of Psychiatry and Associate Director of the LEAH (Leadership Education in Adolescent Health) Training Program in the Division of Adolescent Health, both at Children's Hospital, Boston as well as Assistant Professor of Psychology, Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Her career has primarily focused on instruction, training and mentoring. She has interests in diversity training, the development of adolescent girls and media images of women.
