Elizabeth Pratt, Ph.D., Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey

 

 

  Clinical Assistant Professor, Eating Disorders Program Associate Director

Dr. Pratt received her Ph.D. in 2003 from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She completed her internship at the Boston Consortium in Clinical Psychology and a NIMH sponsored postdoctoral fellowship in stress and trauma research at the National Center for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, both at the Jamaica Plain Campus of the VA Boston Healthcare System. Her primary research interests are in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders, substance use disorders, and PTSD. She is also interested in the treatment of comorbid conditions, particularly substance abuse in women with eating disorders as well as patients with co-occurring substance abuse and PTSD. Dr. Pratt is the Associate Director of the Eating Disorders Program at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders at Boston University. In addition, she is a protocol therapist on three federally-funded clinical trials designed to test the efficacy of novel approaches for intervening with patients with eating disorders, substance dependence, and PTSD.
