 Faculty Members

Our faculty consists of a core faculty of active clinician/ researchers who teach and carry out their research through Boston University. The core faculty members are intimately involved with the teaching, training and supervising of clinical doctoral students. Adjunct faculty provide specialized expertise in clinical or research arenas. Joint faculty have primary affiliations with either the Boston Medical Center or the Boston Veterans Affairs Hospital and have faculty appointments both at the Medical School and the Graduate School. These faculty supervise some clinical and research experiences. Our retired faculty maintain a presence in the program but no longer teach or have active research programs.

While faculty are delighted that others are interested in their work, applicants are encouraged to not directly contact prospective mentors. Faculty receive a substantial number of email inquiries and cannot respond to them all. Instead, we have established information sessions every fall for interested applicants and you can learn about these under the "Answers" section of the web site. Colleagues and potential collaborators are naturally encouraged to contact relevant faculty.
