Fees:
Fees for all services are based on a sliding scale that adjusts depending on an individual’s financial situation. Although we do not accept insurance, we will provide the paperwork necessary for clients to obtain their own reimbursement if approved.
Service Procedures
If you are interested in psychological assessment, neuropsychological assessment, and/or treatment, please call our main number at 617-358-4290. You will be connected to Rebecca Zisserson, the Graduate Assistant, for a brief phone screen to determine the appropriate assessment procedures. You will then receive a call from one of our staff clinicians to set up an assessment appointment. After consulting with our intake team, your clinician will provide you with feedback from your assessment, as well as treatment recommendations or referrals. If treatment at the PSC is offered, you will be assigned to a therapist as soon as possible. We do at times have a waiting list for treatment, which varies depending on therapist availability.
Confidentiality
Maintaining client privacy and confidentiality is a priority at the PSC. We are prohibited from disclosing any information about our clients outside of the PSC without written permission. An exception to this rule is if it becomes apparent that a client is in danger of hurting him or herself or someone else, or there is an indication of abuse of a minor, an elder, or a disabled person. Although not mandatory, we may request permission to speak to other health professionals or parents in order to coordinate care and obtain helpful information in the course of diagnosis or treatment.
