How can physicians help?

For the information collected by the registries to be generalizable, it is important that a representative sample of patients enroll. The best way you can help us is by telling all your recently diagnosed patients about the registries and providing them with enrollment packets. Since newly-diagnosed patients have much to think about, registry enrollment may not be a top priority for them—we encourage you to follow-up with your patients at subsequent visits to remind them of the opportunity to enroll. Enrollment must occur soon after diagnosis, but does not need to happen immediately. Should patients have any questions, they may call the registries directly, toll-free, at 1 (800) 231-3769.
