The Patient Registries at Slone: Myeloma & MDS receive independent guidance from a team of experts and lay people who make up the Advisory Board. The experts serving on the Advisory Board are specialists in multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, quality of life assessment, economics, epidemiology, and hematology/oncology nursing. The two lay representatives are family members of patients with each disease. The Board meets approximately twice per year to consult with the Slone registry team. At the invitation of the Board, the sponsors of the registry may attend Board meetings as technical representatives. The current Advisory Board members are:
