About the CAMPUS Proxy Servers and EZProxy
The campus proxy servers enable current students, faculty, staff, and other affiliates of Boston University to access electronic resources licensed by Boston University. Most of our licensed databases and journals are accessible to all currently-registered University students, plus faculty and staff. However, some databases and journals are only licensed for use by selected groups (such as those available only to the Medical Campus or Law School communities). Similarly, while most databases are available for access by university users whether they are on or off campus, some databases are only available to users who are physically on campus.
Boston University uses EZproxy software to help manage these varying levels of access to restricted resources. EZproxy helps to insure that users get access to any databases and journals that are available to them based on both their group affiliations and the location of their accesses.
The following is a full listing of Web sites that the university has licensed. To access a database, simply follow the link below, select the database you want to use, and respond to Boston University's standard Web Login when prompted through EZproxy. When you're done, make sure to logout of any resource that requires it!
