Constructing the New Humanist in Undergraduate Education

This multidisciplinary conference will challenge BU faculty to consider ways in which we can bring cohesion and community to our students, inspiring, in the process, an active sense of civic and cultural responsibility. Through a series of short presentations and discussions, the conference will be dedicated to how we can conceive of a contemporary Renaissance command of the arts and sciencesa Leonardo blend of classical principles and natural ability with the vitality and modernity of technology and invention, all enabled by individual curiosity and creativity.
