A Toast to Innovation: Celebrating Jacques Pepin at 80
- Starts: 5:00 pm on Monday, November 2, 2015
- Ends: 9:00 pm on Monday, November 2, 2015
Monday, November 2, 6–9 p.m. | $150 (includes a signed copy of Jacques Pépin's new book)
This year marks two major milestones for Boston University: the 50th anniversary of BU’s Metropolitan College (MET) and the 80th birthday of legendary chef Jacques Pépin— who, with Julia Child, cofounded MET’s Culinary Arts and Gastronomy programs.
Many of Boston’s most honored chefs and restaurants will share samples of their favorite specialty dishes or their personal takes on a Pépin recipe—as an “homage to Jacques.” You’ll also enjoy tasting fine wines, beers, and other beverages from premier producers and friends of BU’s culinary arts programs—please come raise a glass with us!
For 50 years, MET has served as a bridge between Boston University and the world, connecting the resources of a leading research university to adults and working professionals in the community and beyond.
