The Camera Obscura Project

  • Starts: 9:00 am on Thursday, November 27, 2014
  • Ends: 12:00 pm on Thursday, November 27, 2014
Now through December 8, a room-sized camera obscura, one of the earliest forms of photography and a tool used by artists for centuries, will be set up in the photography classroom for all to view. The project seeks to bring together the multitude of disciplines that have historically used this tool, including painting, drawing, and neuroscience. In addition, on Monday, December 8 from 4-6 p.m. there will be a closing reception showcasing the collaborative work of CFA musicians and photographers as well as COM photojournalists.
