BU Athletics Collects Toys for Tots

Boston University Athletics will be supporting Toys for Tots at three upcoming home games. The BU men’s and women’s basketball teams will be offering half price tickets to those fans who bring a new, unwrapped toy to the box office when purchasing basketball tickets to selected upcoming Terrier home games. The toys will be collected and donated to the Toys for Tots Program for distribution to needy area children over the holidays. The basketball game dates are Women’s Basketball vs. Harvard, Monday, Dec. 10th, 7 p.m. and Men’s Basketball vs. Quinnipiac, Sunday, Dec. 16th, 1 p.m. at Case Gym. Donated toys will be collected at Agganis Arena ticket office for advanced sales and at the Case Gym box office on game days starting one hour before tip-off. The BU Men’s Ice Hockey Toys for Tots drive will be held prior to the Saturday, Dec. 8 game vs. Maine at 8 p.m. Fans interested can come to Agganis Arena early for a pre-game autograph session with former Terrier and NHL players Jay Pandolfo (‘96) and Brandon Yip (‘09) on the concourse starting at 7:00 p.m. All fans are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy as a donation.
