Waiting to Inhale: Movie Screening, Q&A, and Pizza

  • Starts: 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 11, 2012
  • Ends: 8:30 pm on Thursday, October 11, 2012
BU Students for Sensible Drug Policy will be screening "Waiting to Inhale" the first documentary to examine the movement to legalize cannabis for medicinal use. It was the Official Selection in the Australian International Film Festival and was the Winner of the Eurekai International Film Festival. The movie will be followed by a Q&A with Eric McCoy, a medical cannabis patient with MS. In this video (the one labeled "Eric") he explains how medical marijuana is critical to helping him cope with his disease. http://www.compassionforpatients.com/videos/ Question number 3 on the ballot in November will ask whether we should regulate medical cannabis in the state of Massachusetts. We want to give people a chance to evaluate the facts before voting. We will have voter registration forms for people not registered in Mass, which we will stamp and send out for you! There will also be free vegan pizza!
