Associate Provost for Budget & Planning
Christopher Goss is Associate Provost for Budget and Planning in the Office of the Provost at Boston University. He works closely with the Provost to develop new policies and procedures that ensure that Boston University’s academic priorities, as defined by the collaborative strategic planning efforts of the academic Deans and the Provost, are reflected in all budgetary decisions. Christopher works closely with the Vice President for Budget and Planning to coordinate the University’s annual budgeting process. In addition, he has responsibility for managing the Office of the Provost budget and human resource efforts as well as serving as the Provost’s liaison with the schools and colleges on budgetary issues.
Prior to his appointment in July 2011, Christopher served as Assistant to Boston University Executive Vice President Joseph Mercurio and provided primary leadership and support for data gathering and analysis, monitoring of financial operations, and oversight for financial accounts of all units represented in the Executive Vice President’s portfolio of responsibilities. He has a degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
