Policies and Degree Programs Approved by the Boston University Council in Fall 2016

As part of an ongoing effort to keep you up-to-date on newly approved or revised policies and programs affecting the BU community at large, my office will provide a summary at the beginning of each semester of the academic, faculty, and administrative policies enacted by the Boston University Council and authorized by the President over the course of the previous semester. We will also include a listing of any new degree programs that have been approved.

As a reminder, the Boston University Council (UC) is a body of elected faculty representatives and academic administrators that considers and recommends action on academic matters including degree requirements, the creation and discontinuation of academic programs, and the development of policies that impact either faculty or students. The following summary comprises the policies and degree programs approved and authorized during the Fall 2016 semester:

Policies:
