exposure: the annual PRC juried Exhibition

Each year, the PRC is pleased to host a juried exhibition with a nationally-renowned juror. This prestigious competition is a great opportunity to view a slice of current work as well as see topics in which contemporary minds are engaged. With only about a dozen artists selected from over 300 entries, the PRC Juried Exhibition is a highly competitive and revered program. All winners each exhibit several images in the PRC gallery and are highlighted in the PRC's publication, in the loupe, which is distributed nationally.

Guest jurors represent esteemed curators, photographers and photography professionals from the region and beyond. As each juror brings a different perspective, the show is unique and fresh every year. Past guest jurors of the PRC Juried Exhibition have included: Jen Bekman, Founder & Director of the New York gallery jen bekman; Jeanine Fijol, Photo Editor, Photo District News (PDN); Alison Devine Nordström, Curator of Photography, George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film; Rachel Rosenfield Lafo, Director of Curatorial Affairs, DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park; Chris Enos, artist, educator, and Founder of the PRC; Diana Gaston; Deborah Kao, Curator of Photography, Harvard University's Fogg Art Museum; Richard Woodward; and Edward Earle, International Center of Photography.

In celebration of the PRC's 30th anniversary in 2006, and to reflect the mission and function of our annual photography competition, we changed the name of the PRC Members' Exhibition to EXPOSURE: The Annual PRC Juried Exhibition.
