The PRC offers a wealth of resources, education opportunities, and events that cater to photography students and scholars. Whether it is its acclaimed exhibitions or lecture series, or its extensive library, the PRC is a perfect complement to the curricula at area photography and art schools.

While school groups are always allowed scheduled visits to the PRC free of charge, our membership programs provide institutions and students with more flexible and extensive benefits. The PRC currently offers two membership programs for institutions—institutional membership and basic institutional or library membership. These programs are detailed below.

institutional membership
Institutional Membership is specifically designed for schools that want their photography students to have free, unlimited access to the PRC's gallery and library. Students included in your program will also be able to enter their work into the annual juried exhibition. In addition, students will be admitted to lectures for free and other special events at the discounted member price as well as always kept informed of our events because your institution will receive multiple copies of the newsletter, in the loupe, and other notifications. Finally, your students would be eligible to participate in the annual PRC Student Exhibition, an exhibition of photography from students at member institutions.

Member institutions will be charged a yearly fee which would depend on the number of students expected to take advantage of the PRC's programs and services.

basic institutional or library membership
Membership for your institution or library includes two copies of the Photographic Resource Center's newsletter in the loupe. in the loupe is published 4 times per year and has informative articles and current listings of events and opportunities at the PRC as well as for photography in the New England area. It is the best way to keep informed on what is happening in the photography community today.
