After practicing civil rights and environmental law for over twenty years, Jon Edwards spent five years photographing inhabitants of islands off the coast of Maine. In 2007, Edwards received his MFA from Rockport College, and in 2008 was awarded an Individual Photographer's Fellowship from the Aaron Siskind Foundation. He was featured in the 2007 PRC Juried Exhibition.
