A rising photography star, Brian Finke's work has been featured in such publications as The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Time, and Newsweek. He has received several prestigious grants and awards, including the Award of Excellence from the Alexia Foundation for World Peace. In 2004, he was one of 12 artists nominated for the International Center for Photography's annual Infinity Award, Young Photographer category, and in 2001, he was named one of "PDN Magazine's 30 Emerging Photographers to Watch." In March 2008, powerHouse Books published Finke's most recent monograph, Flight Attendants.
