Recently relocated to Toronto, Surendra Lawoti received his MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He has taught at both MassArt and Montserrat College of Art. Lawoti's work was featured in the 2005 PRC exhibition, DOCUMENT; he has also taught the PRC's outreach program. This image is from his ongoing series dealing with Nepalese diaspora.
