Jim Fitts has had an award-winning career in advertising, design and corporate identity. During his career, he has held senior creative management positions in both traditional and new media advertising firms. Jim’s current Board positions include the Board of Overseers of the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University and the Board of Directors of the Photographic Resource Center. Jim has been a fine arts photographer for over 30 years and has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions. Recently, his rock and roll photographs were prominently featured in Jon Baird’s book, “Songs from Nowhere Near the Heart.” Fitts is also a serious collector of photography.

Regarding this photograph, Fitts states, “The idea for Pee Wee’s real big adventure came to me shortly after I was given the doll as a gift. Why does Pee Wee look so happy? The photo presents one answer.”
