The Godowsky Awards

The Leopold Godowsky Jr. Color Photography Awards honor Leopold Godowsky Jr., the co-inventor of Kodachrome film, whose contributions have had a major and lasting impact on the field of photography. Made possible through the generosity of his wife Frances Gershwin Godowsky, in counsel with her son Leopold Godowsky III, the awards rotate throughout different regions of the world, recognizing artists who have achieved excellence in color photography.  Peer recommendations for the Leopold Godowsky Jr. Color Photography Awards are made by invitation only. Applications are not accepted.
