Political Science at BU

Drawing on history, law, economics, psychology, sociology, and philosophy, political science is a broadly based social science that shares the traditional aims of liberal arts education while attempting to come to grips with the major public issues of our time. Our faculty study issues across all subfields of political science and are engaged in public discourse.

Our students at both the undergraduate and graduate level pursue a wide range of interdisciplinary study, leveraging the numerous resources and opportunities BU has to offer, including, but not limited to: the Initiative on Cities, the Center for Antiracist Research, and the Pardee School of Global Studies and its various regional centers and institutes.
