Professor Reeves’ Work on the Politics of Disaster Informs National Discussions
Professor Andrew Reeves is an expert in the politics of disaster relief and when Hurricane Sandy struck one week before the election his research (with John Gasper) informed discussion across the country. In one major piece, Mother Jones magazine addressed “How Hurricane Sandy Could Swing the Election” . This same research was also featured on CNN.com, the Monkey Cage (the leading political science blog), and many newspapers around the country.
