Jeffrey_Petersen_thumbJEFFREY PETERSEN is Technical Director and Production Manager for Boston Playwrights’ Theatre. A native of Minnesota, he is a passionate theatre maker with more than 20 years practice. For Boston Playwrights’ Theatre and the BU New Play Initiative, Petersen designed sets for Leo McGann’s The Honey Trap, Phil Schroeder’s Equal Writes, and Danyele Brickner’s Restricted.  Select professional scenic design credits include Dancing at Lughnasa, Pavilion, Sylvia, The Last Five Years, The Glass Menagerie, and String for Minneapolis’ Yellow Tree Theater; Rocky Horror Show Live for Cardinal Theatricals; and Melancholy Play (assistant designer, Clint Ramos designer) for Trinity Rep. Boston University design credits include Rosmersholm, The Whitmores, Cosi fan Tutte, and The Werther Project.

Collaboration: Warhol/Basquiat (HERE NYC); Lettice and Lovage (Gloucester Stage Co); Thurgood, Brecht on Brecht (New Rep Theatre). Jeffrey holds a BFA in Performance and Scene Design from The University of Minnesota – Duluth and received his MFA training in Scene Design under James Noone at Boston University.
