REMINDER:Remove data from acquisition systems

December 10th, 2012 in Uncategorized

Happy Holidays to all as you gear up for finals.  A quick reminder to be sure and remove your data from systems in a timely fashion.

Someone was unable to save their data this weekend because a drive which should have 500Gb free space was full!

Thanks and a big thank you to all  those who have been deleting files all along.

Data File format for the FV10i

March 22nd, 2012 in Uncategorized

To remove your data from the FV10i in native format, navigate to the desktop, click the shortcut to USER- Fluoview Data

Navigate to you Lab, and user name.

Once you reach the location where you saved your data you will see identiocally named enties for both an oif file and a file folder.

You need both of those to successfully read the data.  The OIF file is basically a link and instructions on how to interpret the contents of the identically named file folder.

For example:

xxy_.oif is the oif file and has a very smal size ~15k

xxy_ File folder is a folder which when expanded contains lots of files with the following attributes

s_LUT(channel number).lut

You open the data by directing the .oif file to ImageJ (LOCI enabled) or FV standalone analysis software.

Real time update

September 8th, 2011 in Uncategorized

Welcome back (to those who left),

With an increase in the number of people running custom thermal profiles that take longer than the default 2hr run, we are making a few changes.

Realtime #2 (right side) now reserves in 30minute blocks so you can run your 2:30 protocol without running long.  Additionally, a single 30 minute slot can be reserved for analysis and file management.

Please be aware of the time you are reserving, as always if  you have a sample running and it is during another’s time slot your sample may be discarded!

Realtime #1 still has the default time units of 120minutes per reservation.
