Practicing ACT: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Description
Workshop offers the theory and practice skills for this evidence-base, third wave contextual behavioral therapy. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) processes are flexible and are being used successfully cross-diagnostically and internationally in a wide range of treatment settings. Participants will have basic understanding of Relational Frame Theory and the fundamental of contextual behavioral treatment and psychological flexibility. They will have the information they need to apply ACT in case formulation, with multiple age groups (children, adults, elders), and in their practice.
