Healing the Parts Within: An Introduction to the Internal Family Systems Model
Description
This workshop introduces Internal Family Systems (IFS), developed by Richard Schwartz. The workshop provides an overview of the unique integration of ego state theory, family therapy, and concepts of Core Self that comprise the IFS model. Participants will learn basic IFS skills for the identification and facilitation of client's work with "parts of self." Special attention will be paid to assisting clinicians in working with their own "parts of self," particularly when working with trauma survivors.
