Emilia Romagna Regional Dinner, with Mary Ann Esposito

Description

In this hands-on class, students will prepare regional specialties from the Northern Italian region Emilia Romagna. Helmed by Mary Ann Esposito, prolific cookbook author, culinary teacher, and host of Ciao Italia, America’s longest-running cooking show, this multi-course meal will include garganelli (parmesan pasta), boneless pork roast cooked in milk, braised fennel, and torta renette (apple cake). After working with Mary Ann in the kitchen to prepare the recipes, students will sit down to enjoy the fruits of their labor along with wine pairings selected by Guy Esposito, Mary Ann’s husband and a wine educator with accreditation from the United States Sommelier Association.
