NEW HEMATOLOGIST AND ONCOLOGIST APPOINTED TO BOSTON MEDICAL CENTER

(Boston)- Duyen Ngo, MD, has been appointed Attending Physician in the Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology and Oncology at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an Instructor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM).

Ngo completed her undergraduate degree from Harvard University. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis and completed her residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. Ngo completed a post residency fellowship in hematology and oncology at Boston Medical Center.

Ngo’s clinical interests include anemias, iron disorders, coagulopathies, and hemoglobinopathies. Her research focuses on understanding modifiers of clinical phenotype in patients with sickle cell disease.
