Boston University Receives International Award
Boston University is one of five U.S. universities to receive the 2009 Senator Paul Simon Award for leadership in preparing students for a global economy and an interconnected world. The award is presented by NAFSA: Association of International Educators, and is named after former U.S. Senator Paul Simon, who was a strong supporter of the value and importance of international education.
Boston University is home to more than 5,000 international students, including several hundred CELOP students. BU also has a premier study abroad program, sending more than 2,100 students to 33 cities in 25 different countries.
