Why is the School of Management a good fit for you?
SMG has a stimulating and growing research environment, and at the School I have many inspiring colleagues. I also enjoy teaching and interacting with the SMG students, who are engaged and provide thought provoking questions.  The main focus of my research is the emergence of new industries with a special focus on high-technology.  I thus enjoy being part of a large research university with exceptional competences within many evolving technology fields.  Another advantage of SMG is that it is located in Boston in the middle of a buzzing technology hub.

What’s been your biggest gain since coming to the School?
I have increased my research productivity since coming to SMG due to the stimulating research environment.  My experiences in the classroom and interactions with students have also made me a better teacher.

Is there any BU or Boston resource you would highlight as having enhanced your experience here?
BU is located within the largest academic hub in the world with an extremely high density of universities.  I thus find the research environment here very stimulating.

What business problem do you most want your work to help solve?
I hope to contribute to our understandings of how new industries and technologies evolve and how we can improve the commercialization of science.
