In this video, from a talk at the Keane Institute about Boston University School of Management’s new Institute for Global Work, Professor N Venkatraman, the David J. McGrath, Jr. Professor in Management,  discusses the three historical phases of globalization. Today, in the midst of “Globalization 3.0,” Professor Venkatraman asks, “if management is a discipline, where do we go and study it?”

“At the interstices, the relationships companies are forming,” he argues, “or within the literal networks of partnerships they are building.”
