BU Law at Boston Symphony Hall

Pnina Lahav led a group of approximately 80 law students to attend a Rachmaninoff/Shostakovich concert performed by the BU Symphony at the Boston Symphony Hall, April 2, 2012.
Orchestrated by Lahav and Dean Ben Juarez of the College of Fine Arts (CFA), the event sought to provide law students with an opportunity to enjoy the incredible cultural richness that Boston and BU have to offer, according to Ari Ruben (’14), who publicized the event and managed logistics through the student affairs office.
“We have many students who have musical training of different sorts, and it was a pleasure for them to take a break from legal studies and reconnect with their musical selves,” said Lahav. “CFA was very generous in giving us splendid seats.”
Last year, Lahav took a small group of her Constitutional Law students to a BU opera, and during the Fall semester, she brought a larger group of BU Law students to a BU symphony performance of Verdi at Symphony Hall.
