Anjal Chitre ('07) was appointed to the board of directors for The Home for Little Wanderers, the nation's oldest and one of New England's largest child and family service agencies. Chitre was one of five elevated to the board.
"These new board members bring talents that help further The Home's promise to ensure that families and children throughout the Commonwealth thrive and succeed," said Joan Wallace-Benjamin, President and CEO. "Each new member has demonstrated a commitment--through professional and personal pursuits--to supporting youth and families who are living in at-risk circumstances."
Chitre is a senior associate at Wilmer Hale, Boston, having joined the firm after graduating from BU Law. She focuses her practice in corporate and transactional law.
The mission of The Home for Little Wanderers is to ensure the healty behavioral, emotional, and social education of development through a series of integrated programs that include early childhood services, special education, therapeutic residential treatment, adoption, intensive foster care, clinical and family support in homes, schools, hospitals, and clincs.
