94.7% of recent BU Law graduates pass Mass. Bar examination
94.7% of recent BU Law graduates passed the July 2010 Massachusetts Bar Examination, according to the state Supreme Judicial Court’s Board of Bar Examiners. This marks BU Law as having one of the highest passing rates of all Massachusetts law schools. Results show that 1,858 of 2,157 law school graduates who took the test passed, at a success rate of 86.1%.
The Massachusetts Bar Exam is a two-day test administered twice annually in February and July. The first day of the examination involves a multiple-choice Multistate Bar Exam, and the second day focuses on 10 essay questions specific to law in the state of Massachusetts.
Next for those who made the grade in July is a formal Massachusetts Bar Association admission ceremony held at Faneuil Hall at the end of the month.
