Certificate in Legal Research Skills for Practice
Just a reminder, if you are interested in participating in the certification program it is being repeated over a three day period from May 10-12. It is not too late to brush up your research skills before you head off for the summer. You can register at http://www.bu.edu/lawlibrary/training/classes/skills.html.
The classes include: Legislative Process and Congressional Documents on May 10 at 11am; Alternatives to Lexis and Westlaw on May 10 at 1pm; Massachusetts Legal Research on May 10 at 2pm; Administrative Regulations without Westlaw and Lexis on May 11 at 11am; Caselaw Research in Print on May 11 at 1pm; Statutory Research in Print on May 11 at 2pm; Internet Legal Research on May 12 at 11am; How to Keep Current as a Lawyer on May 12 at 1pm; and Researching Treaties on May 12 at 2pm. All classes are meeting in Rm 334 except for Statutes in Print which will meet in Rm 117.
