What about a special thank you to someone who supported you through law school?  Or to help a friend find a job or repay their loans? How much do you think that's worth?  I'm sure you'll agree that it's worth more than $20.10.  

 

Introducing the Class of 2010 Gift Campaign.  Each year, the graduating class leaves their mark on the Law School by making gifts in honor of someone that has made a difference in their lives and raising money for the Annual Fund.  This is your opportunity to say thank you and show appreciation to someone special in your life, as well as make a difference in the lives of your classmates.   In honor of the Class of 2010, we ask that you make a gift of $20.10 or even $2,010 (you wouldn’t be the first)! Of course a gift of any amount will make a significant difference for a BU Law student.

 

For a minimum of $20.10, you can honor a professor, an administrator, your parents, or someone who has made an impact on your legal education.  Certificates of your appreciation will be available for you to deliver to your honoree, and their names will be listed in the Commencement Brochure.

 

Money raised by the 2010 Class Gift will be directed to the Annual Fund which contributes to a wide range of student support, including PIP, financial aid, LRAP, job placement and Career Development Office programs. Last year, Dean O’Rourke used more than $200,000 from the Annual Fund to support these initiatives, and will do so again this year.

 

Our goal this year is full support from the Class of 2010, and $5,500. We invite you to come by and make a gift.  Remember, gifts of any amount will help a BU Law student! If you would like to become a Class Gift Committee member, please Roisin Hunt.
