Banking and Financial Law Lecturer Sydney J. Key's study on issues for EU deposit insurance legislation has been republished by the Centre for European Policy Studies

In June 2009, the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels republished Dr. Key's research report Deposit-Protection Schemes: Issues for an EC Directive (first published in 1992) with a new foreword by Daniel Gros, the Centre's Director. CEPS explained that it "elected to republish this paper some 17 years later in its entirely, given its continued relevance to the EU's struggle to reform its system of financial supervision in the wake of the financial crisis."
