Dan Offner ('89) selected to lead Nixon Peabody LLP's newly launched Intellectual Property Transactions Group


Los Angeles Partner Daniel Offner to Lead Transactions-focused Group

March 13, 2009 (Los Angeles, CA) – International law firm Nixon Peabody LLP announces the formation of the Intellectual Property Transactions practice group.  This focused, multidisciplinary group will be led by Los Angeles partner Dan Offner and will be part of the firm’s 125 member Intellectual Property department.  
The Intellectual Property Transactions group includes attorneys from across the firm’s offices and practice groups focused on providing legal and business expertise on intellectual property transactions and licensing matters for the firm’s clients across a wide range of industries, including videogames, digital content and technology, advertising (traditional, internet, and digital), e-commerce, life sciences, technology transfer, outsourcing and procurement.

Mr. Offner focuses his practice on representing businesses in the videogame, digital content and technology, IT, and media and advertising industries. He regularly handles licensing, IT, e-commerce, publishing, and distribution transactions, as well as corporate formation, financing, and mergers and acquisitions work, in addition to dispute resolution matters.  Mr. Offner is a graduate of Yale University, and earned a J.D. and M.B.A. from Boston University.
