Symposium panels will cover such topics as: global dilemmas of international criminal justice; modern ad hoc tribunals; U.S. and E.U. divergent approaches to the ICC; current challenges to international criminal justice; and the UN Security Council and international criminal justice. The Friday evening keynote will be delivered by John Bellinger, Legal Counsel to the U.S. Secretary of State, on "U.S. Policy and Perceptions of International Criminal Tribunals".
