Welcome Law Students: Orientation, Tours & Copy Cards!


Welcome 1L and graduate law students and a warm welcome back to returning students!

Library, computer services and research orientations are scheduled for new 1L students and LL.M. students in American Law. Orientations also will be held for new graduate students in the LL.M. programs in Taxation and Banking and Financial Law. Please check your orientation program schedules for times and locations. In these orientation sessions the library staff will review the information new law students need to know about library and computer services, print and electronic research resources, the new website and research training programs.

The library staff will also be offering short library tours at the following times. Tours begin in the computer lab in room 334.

Tuesday, September 5: 4PM
Wednesday, September 6:  11AM and 2:30PM
Thursday, September 7: 9AM and 4PM
Friday, September 8: 1PM and 3PM
Monday, September 11: 10:15AM and 1PM

The Law School is providing each student with a complimentary copicard for 250 free copies. The card can be used for computer printing and photocopying in the law library, the computer labs, and the library annex. First year and American Law graduate students will find the card in their orientation packets. The other graduate programs will be distributing cards directly to their students. 2L and 3L students may pick up their copicard at the Law Library Annex beginning August 30. Please bring your ID card.
