This course is for students and professionals in geography, earth sciences, archaeology, city and town planning, public health, agriculture, environmental science and related areas, who wish to develop their knowledge of the principles and applications of geographical information systems (GIS) and remote sensing to solve real-world environmental problems. The course will focus on collection, management and analysis of spatial data, and the development of technical and professional skills that can be used in the work-place or in research.
